To support our growth and expand our market share in the stainless steel sector, we are recruiting a Purchasing Officer (M/F).

Your responsibilities ?
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will manage the historical supplier portfolio while prospecting to extend and renew it.
Your main tasks will include:

  • Managing supply needs in line with commercial objectives and supplier capacities;
  • Overseeing logistics through to delivery to the relevant departments;
  • Applying purchasing policies and procedures defined by Management;
  • Monitoring performance indicators to continuously improve operations;
  • Drafting calls for tenders, prospecting, and selecting suppliers;
  • Negotiating purchasing conditions (cost, quality, deadlines, payment) and managing risks;
  • Evaluating and ensuring supplier quality;
  • Contributing to the corporate social responsibility (CSR) policy.
Your profile?

You are recognized for your dynamism, proactivity, sense of responsibility, and excellent interpersonal skills with clients and suppliers. You are rigorous and methodical to ensure the reliability of your work. You possess strong negotiation skills and are used to being fully committed to the projects you handle.

You hold a higher education degree specializing in purchasing, with solid technical knowledge of the industrial sector.
You have a minimum of 5 years of significant experience in a similar position.

To successfully carry out the assigned tasks, you will need to apply the following skills:

  • Negotiation skills and organizational sense;
  • Rigour, organization, and ability to work independently;
  • Interpersonal skills with clients and suppliers;
  • Proficiency in English and Italian;
  • Proficiency in IT tools (Excel).
This position, based in Amphion-les-Bains (74), is offered on a permanent contract (CDI), with executive status and 5 weeks of paid leave.
Annual gross salary depending on experience.
Employee benefits: profit-sharing agreement, annual performance bonus, health insurance, meal vouchers, remote work, training, RTT (additional paid leave).

Your responsibilities

Reporting to the Administrative and Financial Director, you will be responsible for the complete management of the company’s human resources and play a key role in the development of our teams.
Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Support for managers
  • Legal and regulatory monitoring
  • Compensation and benefits management
  • Internal communication
Your profile

You are known for your energy, proactivity, sense of responsibility, and possess a strong analytical mindset. You are rigorous and methodical in order to ensure the reliability of your work. You have strong communication skills and are used to being actively involved in projects in which you are fully committed.

You hold a higher education degree in Human Resources (Master’s level or equivalent in Human Resources Management, Labor Law, etc.).
You have at least 10 years of solid experience in Human Resources, with proven expertise in payroll management.

To successfully carry out the tasks assigned to you, the following skills are required:

  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and social regulations
  • Precision, organization, and ability to work independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Discretion and respect for confidentiality
  • Knowledge of DISC behavioral profiling
  • Proficiency in payroll software (knowledge of SAGE Payroll) and HR tools

This sector has a rich portfolio of important clients to be followed up and maintained, while carrying out the necessary prospecting for its expansion and renewal.

Our customer base is broad and diverse, consisting of distributors, general contractors or subcontractors in the construction industry, industrial sector in agri-food and pharmaceuticals, collective sector in education, sports, health, culture, tourism, leisure, and technical specifiers for these projects (architects, engineering firms, economists).

Reporting to the Sales Manager, your main missions will be as follows:
  • Develop sales revenue and achieve objectives within the framework of the sales policy.
  • Carry out all necessary sales actions for this development.
  • Identify, manage, and finalize projects to ensure product sales.
  • Conduct commercial negotiations in compliance with general sales conditions/prices and company processes.
  • Highlight the technical qualities of the products and their possible applications to meet specific customer requirements.
  • Utilize and update the CRM tool at your disposal to ensure reporting.
  • Establish a strong relationship necessary for teamwork with your counterpart in the office.
Profile: Male/Female, minimum Bac+2 level in technical and/or commercial training, residing within the geographic area, with a minimum of 5 years or more experience in a B2B sales position of secondary construction products.
